In May 2018, LWPP published a report on the results of a survey and focus group study it carried out early in the year, talking to over 200 participants representing a carefully selected cross-section of Libyan society. The "Libya after Seven Years of Impasse: Prospects for the Transitional Period and the Road Map," published in Arabic and English, indicates an urgent need to reassess the Libyan crisis and the proposed solution. That it is not simply a political or a political-security crisis, but one that requires a multi-dimensional approach to flinding a solution. The survey also revealed that Libyan influencers are not confident that future entitlements-such as elections-willt push the country In the right direction. However, despite their doubts over the elections, the respon- dents still overwhelming want to take part in the democratic process. The report comes as another contribution to the formulation of an inte- grated comprehensive vision of sustainable peace addressing the multi- dimensionality of the crisis In Libya.
